With Gunnersville taking place this month, three members of headlines You Me At Six take time out at Reading Festival to chat about the brand new three day concert series. The band will be playing all of their singles in chronological order across a two hour headline set.

Gunnersville will take over West London’s Gunnersbury Park, for three days of live music from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 September 2019.

Doves, The Specials and You Me At Six will headline the first-ever Gunnersville.

Continuing their comeback, the first night of Gunnersville will be headlined by Cheshire indie rockers and two-time Mercury Prize nominees Doves. Known for singles Black and White Town and There Goes the Fear, their set will be one of only a handful of appearances the band have booked in this summer following their celebrated return after a ten-year hiatus.

Pioneering ska band The Specials will headline the Saturday night of Gunnersville. The band, known for their hits Too Much Too Young and Ghost Town, released their brand new album Encore in February 2019. Featuring the return of Ghost Town vocalist Terry Hall, the album debuted at No.1 on the Official UK Albums Chart.

They’ll be joined on Saturday 7 September by British rockers Ocean Colour Scene, reggae stars General Roots, and psychedelic infused rockers The Blinders.

Headlining the final night of Gunnersville will be UK rockers You Me At Six. Late last year the band released their sixth studio album VI and their last London shows saw the group sell out three nights at the legendary O2 Academy Brixton.

“We wanted to celebrate a pretty mad 18 months for us as a band so when Gunnersville approached us to headline one of the days we knew straight away what we wanted to do,” says frontman Josh Franceschi. “To celebrate the new era of YMA6 we are going to play all our singles in order. From Take Off Your Colours to VI! It’s gonna be a hell of a night and the line-up is amazing. We can’t wait!”

You Me At Six will be joined by veteran melodic rockers Jimmy Eat World, indie favourites Sundara Karma, rockers Deaf Havana, The Maine, As It Is and Milk Teeth.
