Green Day announce huge new Scottish show

Green Day announce huge new show at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park, joined by punk veterans Rancid.

The date forms part of Green Day’s Revolution Radio Tour, in celebration of the album of the same name. They will be joined by the Tim Armstrong led Rancid on their Scottish date.

Green Day had already confirmed their appearance at Hyde Park as part of British Summer Time in July, as well as playing in Leeds, Manchester and a headline show at London’s O2 in February.

Revolution Radio is the trio’s 12th studio album, following their 2012 trilogy.

Their Scottish date will take place on 4 July 2017, making their full tour look like this:

5 February – First Direct Arena, Leeds
6 February – Manchester Arena, Manchester
8 February – The O2, London
28 June – Ormeau Park, Belfast
1 July – British Summer Time at Hyde Park, London
4 July – Bellahouston Park, Glasgow

Tickets for the new date are on sale from 9:00 on Friday 9 December 2016 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
