Summer is really beginning to take shape, as the UK’s biggest festivals keep the announcements rolling in. Here, our man in the know, that’s Festie Guru to his friends, rounds up the latest headlines you might’ve missed…
One of my favourite British mobs, Blur, are joining the mighty Fleetwood Mac and The Prodigy at Isle of Wight this summer. Did someone say drunk dancing? Oh yeah, I’ll be hanging back with my best dance moves when Pharrell’s set kicks in.
Just in case the likes of Slipknot, Muse and KISS didn’t have you drooling over the thought of Donington already, my metalhead pals at Download have added so many on-site extras that I don’t know where to begin. It’ll probably be around the KISS face paint though…
Choices are HARD. Especially when it comes to choosing my favourite day at British Summer Time Hyde Park, but I needn’t worry about all that… This week they launched a new £99 joint ticket offer, which means you can book a deal on either Blur and The Who, The Strokes and Blur, OR The Strokes and The Who.
Confession time, I can’t stop humming Boom Clap, which I’m guessing had something to do with Charli XCX’s decision to play Wireless Festival 2015. Probably. Anyway, it’s going to be mega, with loads more bands announced for the Finsbury Park three-dayer.
My super-glam bros and sisters at V Festival are looking even more stylish this year. No, I didn’t think it was possible either. Check out their tip-top style quiz for all the details – it sounds positively groovy.
Hold on to your hats, guys and gals. It’s official, Snoop Dogg will team up Cypress Hill, Mark Ronson, Jessie Ware, Ella Eyre and more to cause complete chaos at Lovebox 2015. Consider yourself warned (see you there!).
Justin Bieber to headline Friday night at Fusion Festival 2015? Now that’s rad. Rudimental and McBusted will take on the three-day festival’s other top spots and, well, if you’re still reading this, then you’re doing it all wrong my friends. Hurry, tickets on sale now!
