Gerry Cinnamon reschedules huge headline stadium show
He'll now take to Glasgow's Hampden Park in July 2021.
Gerry Cinnamon has rescheduled his huge Scottish date, now bringing him to Glasgow’s Hampden Park on 17 July 2021. Original tickets remain valid, and fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will be contacted by our Customer Services team with more information.
The date follows the recent release of his sophomore album The Bonny through his own label, Little Runaway, having recently rounded off his headline tour across the UK.
“Hampden Park in the sunshine. New album under my belt. We’ll have that place rocking easy,” Gerry says of things to come, as the Glasgow show announcement cements the remarkable rise of the Scottish singer-songwriter.
Gerry Cinnamon’s signature style of music and singing enables his natural Glaswegian accent to deliver “brutally honest” lyrics has seen him grow from selling out small venues by word of mouth and social media in Scotland. His first single Hope Over Fear was written for a Scottish Independence rally event in Glasgow and introduced him to a wider audience. From that, he released another single Kampfire Vampire and supported John Power and Ocean Colour Scene.
The Bonny follows his top 20 debut and Gold certified Erratic Cinematic, and features singles Canter, Dark Days and Sun Queen.
Gerry spent last summer performing at the likes of Glastonbury Festival and TRNSMT Festival, as well as taking home the Best Live Act accolade at the AIM Independent Music Awards. His recent tour saw him headline Aberdeen’s P&J Live Arena, as well as two nights at Glasgow’ SSE Hydro Arena.
He now takes to Glasgow’s Hampden Park, a venue that has welcomed iconic names such as Oasis, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay.
