Singer-songwriter Frank Turner is confirmed as the headline act for Street Noise – a night of music to raise funds for Big Issue North Trust and INSP (International Network of Street Papers) at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on 24 August 2017.

The news comes just as Turner is in the last leg of finishing the recording of his seventh studio album in the US and a majorly successful four-day festival at The Roundhouse in London just last month.

About the show, Frank Turner said: “I’m very happy and honoured to be doing a show for Big Issue North. The work they do with and for the homeless is invaluable, it’s an important campaign to get behind. I’m also happy to be coming back to Manchester for a show, it’s one of my favourite cities in the world.”

Support is provided by Felix Hagan & the Family, a seven-piece of new-glam, high camp pop, punk and classic rock, as well as home town up-and-comers Our Fold. Manchester legend Clint Boon is also set to bring his regular DJ set to the Ritz.

After a major UK tour last winter with his trusted backing band, The Sleeping Souls, to support his latest album Positive Songs For Negative People he will also be supporting pop-punkers Blink-182 on their summer UK arena tour.

Tickets for Street Noise go on sale at 09:00 on Friday 23 June 2017 via Ticketmaster.co.uk.
