Foo Fighters have announced a string of September headline gigs after being forced to cancel their Wembley Stadium and Edinburgh shows last month.
The influential rockers will make their triumphant return will dates at Milton Keynes Bowl on 5 and 6 September 2015, as well as playing Edinburgh BT Murrayfield Stadium on 8 September 2015.
“You have always stood by our band, and we will always stand by you,” Dave Grohl said after injuring himself on stage in Gothenburg, Sweden. “Like I say at every show, we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you guys. And I mean that.
“I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And I will do everything I can to come back and give you a night to remember for the rest of your lives as soon as possible.”
Foos haven’t wasted any time in making good on their promise, with the Milton Keynes Bowl dates less than two months away. Iggy Pop will also be the special guest at all three shows.
Presale tickets will be available to original ticket holders for the June gigs on Wednesday 15 July at 09:00 – an email will be sent with the offer code on Tuesday 14 July. This will be a limited offer and on a first come first served basis. The offer ends Friday 17 July at 09:00 or when allocation is fully subscribed.
