Fireball: Fuelling The Fire tour grows even bigger

The Fireball: Fuelling the Fire Tour will return for its fourth year in 2019, announcing very special all-dayers in both London and Birmingham which will see co-headliners Less Than Jake perform Hello Rockview in full.

The punk party kicks off on 19 September 2019 in Sheffield, before heading to Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Bournemouth, finishing with a flourish at the iconic O2 Academy Brixton on 28 September 2019.

This year’s tour will be co-headlined by ska legends Less Than Jake and punk rock heroes Goldfinger.

Joining both across all dates will be Save Ferris, Thieves of Liberty, DJ Matt Stocks, who will be spinning tunes between sets, and the local winners of the Fireball Hottest Band Competition.

Bigger than ever, the Fireball: Fuelling the Fire Tour will now extend to all-dayers in both London and Birmingham. As well as headliners Less Than Jake announcing that they will be playing their defining Hello Rockview album in full at both shows, they’ll also be joined by Snuff, King Prawn and Lady Bird in Birmingham and Snuff, Buster Shuffle and The Bottom Line in London.

Formed in Gainesville, Florida in 1992, Less Than Jake are one of the most successful ska bands of their generation. The band have released 10 LPs during their career, and some of their best-known singles include History of a Boring Town, All My Best Friends Are Metalheads, She’s Gonna Break Soon, Overrated (Everything Is) and The Rest of My Life.

Goldfinger have released seven studio albums since their formation in Los Angeles during the mid ’90s. Their latest, 2017’s The Knife is the band’s first album release in nine years and features a supergroup line-up with Blink-182’s Travis Barker on drums, Story of the Year’s Phillip Sneed on lead guitar and Mike Herrera from MXPX on bass.

Some of Goldfinger’s most well-known tracks include Spokesman, Here in Your Bedroom, Open Your Eyes, Superman and their cover of Nena’s classic hit 99 Red Balloons.

Both bands return to the UK later this year when the Fireball: Fuelling the Fire Tour hits the road throughout September 2019.
