London-based music festival Field Day is set to return in 2020.
After a hugely successful first year in its new location, Field Day will return to its new The Drumsheds home in Meridian Water on Saturday 11 July 2020.
Celebrating all things electronic music, Field Day 2020 will see both live and DJ performances spread across three stages.
The first artist confirmed for next year’s festival is Belfast electronic duo BICEP Live, who are set to headline in a London summer festival exclusive.
The pair released their hugely anticipated debut album Bicep in 2017, debuting at No.21 on the Official UK Albums Chart.
Featuring the tracks Glue, Vale and Aura, Bicep was well-received critically, receiving praise from the likes of The Guardian, Pitchfork and Resident Advisor.
In recent years the duo have built a well-earned reputation for their high energy live shows featuring spectacular visuals.
The last time Bicep came to London was for three sold out raves at Printworks in 2018. Check out the full performance below:
The inaugural Field Day took place in 2007 and throughout the years has grown into one of the most popular and successful festivals taking place across the capital.
Artists who have played Field Day in the past include Franz Ferdinand, Pixies, Patti Smith, Mabel, Four Tet, Loyle Carner, and Aphex Twin.
Last year’s Field Day saw the festival take place in its brand new Meridian Water home and featured blistering headline sets from Jorja Smith and North London’s own Skepta.
Field Day 2020 will be headlined by BICEP. More artists will be announced soon.
