Relive Download 2017 with these interviews and reviews
Download Festival 2018 tickets are on sale now.
With Download Festival 2018 shaping up to once again become the highlight of the rock and metal calandar, headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N’ Roses and Ozzy Osbourne, we’re looking back at last year’s phenomenal event.
The UK’s premiere alternative festival last year welcomed headline performances by System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith, making their last ever appearance on these shores.
To celebrate all things Download, we’ve pulled together everything we captured at the 2017 outing to further whet those appetites.
Over the weekend at Donington Park this year, we spoke to a heap of acts, checked out loads of the live performances, and sent out our avid photographer to capture all the action.
The festival saw further performances by the likes of Prophets of Rage, Slayer, Every Time I Die, AFI, Steel Panther, Wednesday 13, Creeper, A Day To Remember, Motionless In White, Airbourne, Code Orange, Baroness and more.
We were also lucky enough to enjoy the beauty of the VIP experience in the aptly titled RIP area. Find out more about that here (http://blog.ticketmaster.co.uk/music/feature-full-rip-experience-download-festival-33764).
So as we gear up to Download Festival 2018, here’s what Download Festival 2017 had in stall. What a weekend it was.
