Watch Danielle Bradbery perform live in session
She stops by Ticketmaster HQ ahead of her support for Thomas Rhett in November.
For Goodbye Summer, country singer and songwriter Danielle Bradbery teamed up with multi-Platinum star and friend Thomas Rhett, who she is also supporting on his forthcoming UK headline show.
The song, an evolution of Hello Summer from Bradbery’s sophomore album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, was written by Rhett alongside Rhett Akins, Julian Bunetta and Jaren Johnston of The Cadillac Three.
Ahead of the UK tour dates, which sees Bradbery support Thomas Rhett at London’s Eventim Apollo on Saturday 17 November 2018, Danielle stopped by Ticketmaster UK for a stripped back performance of Goodbye Summer.
“Thomas Rhett was one of the first mentors I had in Nashville and we’ve become really good friends over the years,” Danielle Bradbery said of the original. “He’s like a big brother to me, so to be able to record a song he wrote was incredibly special.”
“I remember when I first heard the demo, I actually jammed to it with Thomas Rhett’s vocal on it as if it wasn’t even going to be mine. Now to have the opportunity to re-record the song with him – it’s a dream scenario.”
Tickets for Danielle Bradbery, supporting Thomas Rhett, are available now through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
