Damon Albarn to headline Latitude Festival 2014
Damon Albarn will headline the Saturday night of this year’s Latitude Festival.
The Blur frontman joins previously announced headline act Two Door Cinema Club, who top the bill on the first night of the Suffolk festival.
His performance on the Saturday night will showcase material from his forthcoming debut solo album, Everyday Robots, and will be his only UK festival appearance in 2014.
A festival spokesman said: “Damon Albarn is a perfect fit for such an innovative festival and now audiences will be delighted to see him appear for his first ever festival performance as a solo artist.”
Also playing at the ninth edition of the festival are Röyksopp, Robyn, Goat, Anna Calvi, Willis Earl Beal, Cass McCombs and Haim.
Latitude Festival 2014 takes place July 17-20 at Henham Park, Suffolk. Tickets are on sale now.
