Our weekly round up of this week's biggest new tours, shows and events.
A brand new festival, the Coombe Weekender takes place in Coventry this August.
The two-day event will run from Saturday 3-Sunday 4 August 2019 and see 20,000 revellers head to the grounds of the historic Coombe Abbey.
UK indie rock royalty The Libertines will headline the Saturday night of the inaugural Coombe Weekender. The band are potentially best known for their 2004 No.1 album The Libertines, which features the hit singles Can’t Stand Me Now and Don’t Look Back into the Sun.
Performing just before The Libertines on Saturday will be singer-songwriter Tom Grennan, who released his debut album Lighting Matches last summer.
Also performing on Saturday will be Circa Waves, Reverand & The Makers, The Futureheads and more.
The Sunday headliners for the Coombe Weekender will be unveiled soon. They’ll be joined by a jam-packed line-up including DJ and producer Sigala, who is known for tracks such as Easy Love, Came Here for Love, Lullaby and latest single Just Got Paid.
Artists also on the Sunday line-up include Toploader, Craig Charles Funk & Soul and Fleur East.
More artists for the festival will be announced in the coming months.
Alongside music, there’ll also be further entertainment, a food village and bars at the Coombe Weekender.
