Celebrating the release of her new album Stages, released back at the start of February 2019, Nashville based rising country star Cassadee Pope has announced five headline shows across the UK.

Kicking off in Bristol on 9 May 2019, the dates see her take to London’s O2 Academy Islington as well as shows in Liverpool, Birmingham and Glasgow.

The tour also marks the first time the CMT Next Women of Country initiative has moved outside of the United States.

Ahead of the tour dates, Cassadee stopped by Ticketmaster HQ to chat about life in Nashville, her love of country music, and performing live. Watch the interview above, and check out the video for recent single If My Heart Had A Heart below.

Cassadee Pope released Stages on 1 February 2019, the follow-up to her acclaimed Frame By Frame debut back in 2013.

Now making a dent in the country music scene, Pope began life fronting rock band Hey Monday, and became a household name after winning season three of The Voice in her native United States.

Blending pop and country, her career has already seen her secure Platinum status with single Wasting All These Tears, and a Grammy nomination for her Chris Young featuring Think of You.

Cassadee Pope has played Country to Country Festival at London’s O2, and was the only country star to perform at 2018’s Warped Tour across the States.

She now brings Stages to the UK with her CMT Next Women of Country Tour. Previous tours under the same initiative have welcomed Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBridge and Sara Evans.

Here are those newly announced UK dates:

9 May 2019 – The Fleece, Bristol
10 May 2019 – Arts Club, Liverpool
12 May 2019 – O2 Institute 3, Birmingham
13 May 2019 – O2 Academy Islington, London
15 May 2019 – King Tut’s, Glasgow
