Carly Rae Jepsen has confirmed her UK return, in celebration of her newly announced album, Dedicated.

The pop star will be coming to these shores on 29 May for a one-off show at XOYO, London.

The gig will be Jepsen’s first UK headline show since 2015, and marks the release of her fourth studio album due on 17 May 2019.

Carly Rae Jepsen became a global phenomenon in 2011 with her smash hit single Call Me Maybe. The track, which appears on Carly’s second album Kiss, debuted at No.1 on the Official UK Singles Chart, where it stayed for four weeks. The official music video for Call Me Maybe has been viewed over 1 billion times on YouTube.

The singer followed the release of Kiss with her 2015 effort Emotion. The lead single from the album – I Really Like You – proved to be another hit song from Jepsen, reaching No.3 on the UK chart. The video for the track features a starring role from Academy Award winner Tom Hanks, alongside a cameo from fellow Canadian pop star Justin Bieber.

Emotion, which also features the singles Run Away With Me and Your Type, was a hit with critics, with The Guardian, Rolling Stone, NME, Complex and Billboard naming the record as one of the best albums of 2015 in their year-end lists.

In 2017, the singer dropped the single Cut To The Feeling, teasing fans as to what direction her next album might take. The single is featured on the soundtrack to the French-Canadian animated film Ballerina.

After a brief time away from the spotlight, Jepsen has recently unveiled three new singles; Party for One, Now That I Found You and No Drug Like Me. Watch the feline-filled official video for Now That I Found You below:
