BRIT-nominee Calum Scott has been chosen as Emeli Sandé’s main support on her tour.
The breakout artist, whose cover of Robyn’s hit song Dancing On My Own has become a global sensation across the globe, will join Sandé at arenas across the UK this October, including shows at Glasgow’s The SSE Hydro, Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff and London’s The O2.
Scott’s song became the bestselling UK single of 2016 by a British solo artist and was later nominated for a BRIT Award for Best Single.
He recently wrapped up his first US headline tour, selling out shows across the country. While in the States he performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Good Morning America and Dancing with the Stars.
His new single, Rhythm Inside, has been listed as a BBC Radio 1 Track of the Day and is already approaching 20 millon streams worldwide.
Writing with hand-picked collaborators at the legendary studio in Capitol Towers, Scott is currently at work on his debut album, due later this year. He’s already recorded tracks with Fraser T Smith (Adele), Wayne Hector (One Direction), Steve Robson (James Bay) and Jimmy Hogarth (Amy Winehouse).
