Busted announce UK headline tour for 2017
Following the release their first new single in over a decade, Busted announce a UK headline tour for next year.
A new string of dates will see the pop trio blaze a trail across the UK, kicking off in Norwich next January before heading out to perform in prestigious theatres across the country – dates also include a mammoth show at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on 3 February before wrapping up on 1 March in Dublin.
The 22-date tour comes ahead of the release of their eagerly anticipated third album Night Driver, which will be released on 11 November – we excitedly discussed the new album here last month.
The two-time BRIT Award-winning trio reunited in the studio after almost a decade apart to discover they each had a fresh perspective both personally and musically. “As soon as we started making music it became very apparent that we all wanted to make exactly the same thing,” Matt Willis explained.
“That’s what made it so easy. Once James got on the Juno-60 we were like, ‘this is the sound of our record, this is exactly the kind of record we wanna make’.”
