Boy Jumps Ship sign to Amazing Record Co. for debut album
Boy Jumps Ship have teamed up with Larry Hibbitt (Nothing But Thieves, Marmozets, Hundred Reasons) to record their debut album, set for release in 2016.
The Newcastle four-piece, and favourites here at the Ticketmaster Blog, made the announcement alongside news that they’ve signed to Amazing Record Co.
Paul Campbell, Amazing CEO said: “At Amazing, we love finding bands early and helping them all the way. Our list of discoveries is pretty long now – Daughter, Chvrches, Haim, London Grammar – all bands we played on the radio before anyone else in the world.
“We launched the label earlier this year to help musicians all the way from their first recordings to global acclaim. Boy Jumps Ship are another band we played from the very start and they are destined for huge things. It’s a nice plus that, like us, they are Geordies. The guys are truly amazing and we’re thrilled to be working with them.”
Currently on tour with Only Rivals, you can then catch Boy Jumps Ship in the UK with Young Guns and at Vans Warped Tour UK.
