Bombay Bicycle Club claim their first UK No. 1
Bombay Bicycle Club have reached the top of the UK Albums Chart for the very first time.
The North London quartet’s fourth album So Long, See You Tomorrow album went straight in at No. 1, selling 6,000 more copies that its closest rival, True by Avicii.
Ellie Goulding’s former number one album, Halcyon, slipped one place to number three, while London Grammar climbed three places to number four with their debut album, If You Wait.
Beyonce completed the Top Five with her recent self-titled album.
In March, Bombay Bicycle Club will play their first major UK headline tour in two years – which includes a headline show at London’s Brixton Academy.
