Having performed their seminal debut Silent Alarm in full at London’s Alexandra Palace in November 2018, as well as across Europe, Bloc Party have added a Birmingham date to their regional album shows.

They’ll now also be taking to the O2 Academy Birmingham on 13 July 2019, with tickets available from 10:00 on Friday 8 March 2019.

Silent Alarm was first released in 2005 to widespread critical and commercial success, spawning five singles and a hit remixed version just several months later.

The record achieved multi-platinum status and also earned the group a Mercury Prize nomination – it has since been heralded as one of the most influential albums of the decade.
