More acts announced for Reading and Leeds 2018

More comedy and music added for the August bank holiday weekend

More acts have been confirmed for this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival line-up, joining headliners Kings Of Leon, Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco.

Famous Dex, Jax Jones Live, AJR, The Bronx, Wizkid, Noname, Hilltop Hoods and Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly are just some of the names added to the bill with additional acts including Chip, 30 Rock star Judah Friedlander and Chris Ramsey among performers added to the Alternative Stage line-up.

British rockers Black Foxxes, critically acclaimed duo Let’s Eat Grandma, Thunderpussy, as well as Now, Now, Draper, Yonaka, Sheck Wes, Romzy, The Fever 333 (Reading only), Lizzo and Reece Parkinson (DJ Set) have also been added to the bill.

Other names hitting the festival this August bank holiday include Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, who’ll play two exclusive shows, Rex Orange County, Maggie Rogers, Chase Atlantic, Royal Republic, Alma, Yxng Bane, and The Used, plus many more.

As if that wasn’t enough, today’s announcement also sees comedians Tom Allen, American twin comics Lucas Bros, Piff The Magic Dragon, Shazia Mirza, Tiff Stevenson, David Morgan, Rants n Bants and Evelyn Mok join Friedlander and Ramsey on the Alternative Stage. They join the previously announced Harry Hill, Lee Nelson, Joel Dommett and Big Shaq.

Rounding out the new announcement are Hot Dub Time Machine – who’ll bring a time-travelling dance party to both Reading & Leeds this summer – while at Reading, hip hop poet and activist Akala and Buttoned Down Disco are also on hand. Chip, the grime star formerly known as Chipmunk, will perform at Leeds on Thursday night.
