Everything you need to know about BABYMETAL’s FOX DAY
BABYMETAL have confirmed the name of their new album will be Metal Resistance.
So. Very. Metal.
The ‘metal dance unit’ as they’re described in their official press releases (which we love, by the way) are gearing up for the release of Metal Resistance on 1 April. To celebrate, BABYMETAL will then headline London’s The SSE Arena, Wembley, on Saturday 2 April.
BABYMETAL have also declared 1 April to be ‘FOX DAY’ in honour of the album release.
An official statement explained: “April 1st is announced to be “FOX DAY” and it is prophesied by the FOX GOD that along with the content of BABYMETAL’s new album, there will be further details announced about the TOKYO DOME show, the world tour finale, which we look forward to hear.”
The mighty world tour will continue with a string of US shows, stopping in New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin.
BABYMETAL headline The SSE Arena, Wembley on 2 April 2016, book now at Ticketmaster.co.uk.
