The festival will return to Leeds and Hatfield in May 2021.
In 1988 a group of five young guys in Adelaide got together to play Pink Floyd songs for their friends and own enjoyment in a rented school room – a project that would later on sell out arenas across the world.
To commemorate the three decades of great live shows, the Australian Pink Floyd Show have announced a 27-date tour for next year. Tickets for the events will go on sale this Friday.
The tour will see Australian Pink Floyd Show fill venues across the UK including shows at London’s Hammersmith Apollo and Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
With Pink Floyd themselves spanning a fifty year career, an anniversary tour seemed fitting for the group to pay tribute to a great British band with a show that will have every fan wowed next year.
The celebration of thirty years of performing the glorious music of Pink Floyd, The Australian Pink Floyd Show will present a tour entitled “Time”, one of the best known songs from the iconic album Dark Side of The Moon during which they will perform music from all periods of Floyd’s career. The spectacular live show features state of the art lighting effects, lasers, specially designed imagery and animation projected onto a huge round screen, coupled with inflatables. And of course the ten piece band of superb musicians and vocalists themselves, resulting in an evening which promises to be a must see event for Pink Floyd fans and lovers of music in general.
