The festival takes to Laboma Beach, Accra this December.
The organisers of Afro Nation Ghana have added more artists to the line up of this year’s festival.
British grime pioneer Wiley joins the top billing of the festival, which will already welcome 6LACK, Alkaline, Burna Boy, D’Banj, Davido, Olamide, R2Bees, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Wizkid.
Further down the bill, Afro Nation Ghana will welcome Ghanaian singer and songwriter Becca, Nigerian artists Runtown and Seyi Shay, and British rapper Sneakbo.
The final addition comes in the form of DJ So Good, who joins the previously confirmed list of names taking to the decks across the event.
Afro Nation Ghana is a brand new festival from the team behind Afro Nation Portugal and takes place on the beautiful Laboma Beach, Accra from 27 – 30 December 2019.
Bringing together the biggest names in afrobeat, hip-hop, RnB, dancehall and bashment, the event promises a truly unique experience for festival-goers.
Nigerian reggae dancehall artist Burna Boy will take to the first edition of Afro Nation Ghana. The musician is perhaps best known for his 2018 crossover single Ye.
Worldwide phenomenon Davido will also appear at this year’s event. Davido is best known for tracks such as Fall, If and Assurance.
Alkaline, who combines US hip hop and Jamaican dancehall influences to create his unique sound, has also been confirmed for the top tier of the festival this December.
Global superstar Wizkid, who many will know for featuring on the Drake smash One Dance will also appear as a headline act at Afro Nation Ghana.
Stonebwoy, who recently dropped his latest single, the Beenie Man collaboration Shuga and Ghana’s own self confessed ‘King of The Dancehall’ Shatta Wale will also take to the stage.
Further artists appearing at the three-day event include Kidi, La Meme Gang, Naira Marley, NOT3S, Teni, The Compozers, Wendy Shay, and YXNG BANE.
Promising to bring some of the world’s best artists to a truly unique setting, the first ever Afro Nation Ghana takes over Laboma Beach, Accra from 27–30 December 2019.
