Reasons we’re pumped for the new Olly Murs UK tour

With Olly Murs‘ 2017 UK tour tickets going on sale this week, we take a look at the man himself and get prepped for his brand new tour

Olly Murs  is the all-singing, all-dancing popstar, presenter and cheeky chappy that you and your Mum love in equal measure. He’s one of the biggest success stories of The X Factor – so much so that you’d be excused for thinking that he won it. Instead he actually got that coveted runner-up trophy, managed to dodge the so-called winner’s curse, and then came back and smashed it with a string on No.1 hits and top pop tunes.

And now he’s back! Next March, Olly will go back out on tour, gracing the stage with his slick dance moves, super summery songs and generally cheekiness. Here’s just a few reasons why we’re excited to see him on tour:

He knows his way around a collaboration or two. Olly’s buddied up with some pretty hefty juggernauts of the music world already in his career already – including pop princess Demi Lovato, the incredible Flo Rida, cheeky duo Rizzle Kicks and American rapper Travie McCoy – all of which have resulted in some memorable pop bangers that we can’t wait to see on stage. Suprise guest appearances? Yes please, Olly!

2. He’s got the moves! Olly Murs can dance. Simple. Give that man a stage and off he goes, grinding his hips like it’s nobody’s business. He even demonstrated his moves when he joined the Strictly Come Dancing professionals on a recent appearance on the show to perform latest single You Don’t Know Love; so now we’re really excited to see what he pulls out of the bag on tour next year. Paso Doble, anyone?

3. He’s a right good laugh. They don’t just go out handing presenting jobs to anyone these days, you know. Olly is the perfect popstar package, full of personality that can keep the crowds entertained whether he’s singing, dancing or having a good old chinwag – so expect lost of banter, crowd interaction and tonnes of jokes next year.

4. And he even manages to fall down a set of stairs, pick himself up and just get on with it like it never even happened, absolute professional. Absolute babe.
