2016 preview: Pop and indie UK tours
Adele isn’t the only pop sensation touring the UK in 2016, y’know, with the likes of Rihanna, Hozier, Coldplay, The Maccabees and Jason Derulo plotting big shows of their own.

Coldplay
The British rockers bring their Head Full Of Dreams world tour to the UK this June, marking the band’s first since the 2011/12 Mylo Xyloto Tour.
Janet Jackson
After months of anticipation, Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable tour stops in the UK this march and April. Expect a cool blend of greatest hits and new material, with many US reviews claiming Jackson’s on her finest form right now.
Rihanna
The countdown to Rihanna’s ANTI world tour is in full swing, with a string of huge UK shows scheduled for June. Will we have new material by then? We’re keeping everything crossed!
The Maccabees
The indie rockers are gearing up for a three-night stint at O2 Academy Brixton later this month (January), as well as shows in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. We’ll have 2015’s Marks To Prove It on repeat until then.
Jack Garratt
Fresh from topping the BBC Sound of 2016 poll, Jack Garratt will head out on a headline tour across the UK this April. You’ll want to catch him in these venues while you can!
Daughter
This indie folk trio are set to unveil their new record, Not To Disappear, on 15 January while on tour in the UK. We can’t wait to hear it all live!
The Libertines
This month (January) marks a massive UK arena tour for London rockers, as they head out in support of their most recent album Anthems for Doomed Youth. Bring. Them. On.
Craig David
Ever since sealing the fate on his 2016 comeback, Craig David has been the talk of our live gig calendar. Catch the garage king in action at London’s KOKO on 3 March.
The Temperance Movement
These British rockers are back with a new album in 2016’s White Bear – due for release on 15 January – and hotly-anticipated follow-up to 2013’s self-titled hit. Which means their packing even more rock anthems this time around; consider yourself warned.

Jason Derulo
Singer, songwriter, dancer and actor, there’s little that Jason Derulo doesn’t do well. We’re adding superb live performer to the list. Experience it all for yourself when he tours the UK later this month (January).
The Corrs
You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone… but lucky for The Corrs’ fans everywhere, the band have reformed and are returning to tour the UK after a decade away. Don’t miss them across eight dates this month (January).
Foals
February sees Foals head out on their first ever UK arena tour, with five shows including The SSE Arena, Wembley and Manchester Arena. As well as supporting 2015’s What Went Down, they’ll have Everything Everything on all dates with them.
James Bay
After extensively touring the UK in 2015, Brit star James Bay has bagged himself a three-night London residency at Eventim Apollo between 29 – 31 March 2016.
Ellie Goulding
There’s just no stopping Ellie Goulding right now, with 2015’s Delirium outting her at her prime. The Herefordshire songstress will conquer UK arenas this March.
Little Mix
Reading to get weird? Mixers will be flocking to see the much-loved foursome slay arenas across the UK this April. We. Can’t. Wait.
The Vamps
They’ve conquered Wembley and now the British pop band are on to conquer London’s The O2. That, plus a whole chunk of arena shows. Tour support also comes from Conor Maynard, The Tide and HomeTown.
Busted
They’re back! Charlie, Matt and James have reformed and refuelled for a UK tour that’s promising so many sing-along moments we’re putting ourselves on voice rest now.
Hozier
Irish singer-songwriter and all-round superstar, Hozier, is kicking off the year with three nights at O2 Academy Brixton AND a swift run of must-see UK shows to follow.
