Live Nation is (Officially) a Great Place to Work®
Our Head of Human Resources will tell you why.
From Nadia Rawlinson – Chief Human Resources Officer at Live Nation Entertainment
One of Live Nation’s guiding principles is to take care of our own. That applies to our artists, fans, partners, and of course, our employees – which is why I’m so proud to announce that Live Nation Entertainment has officially been certified as a Great Place To Work® 2017.
The music never stops, and neither do our teams. Each year, our staff works to welcome over 71 million fans, to 26,000 events in 40+ countries, and the demand for concerts keeps on growing. Both the volume and caliber of our production sets Live Nation apart as the world’s leading live entertainment company, and it’s all thanks to the dedication and expertise of our employees.
In short, our employees kick ass. And the best part is they get to do it while rocking out at shows and helping create unforgettable music memories for the world’s biggest artists and all their fans. While access to concerts and festivals is definitely one of our favorite work perks, we also make sure to offer strong programs for career development, health benefits, financial wellness, and lifestyle balance. Our CEO Michael Rapino and our entire leadership team work hard every day to cultivate this as a core part of our culture, and in the past year alone have introduced:
- 6-month fully-paid primary caregiver leave for a new parent
- Student loan repayment assistance, which is especially impactful for our millennial population (we’re also proud to have been the first entertainment company in North America to offer this benefit)
- Fully supported fertility needs such as egg freezing, egg donation, and IVF
- Assistance with adoption or surrogacy needs up to $10,000 per employee
- A sabbatical program providing 6-months paid leave for our longest tenured employees
As Live Nation’s Chief Human Resources Officer I’m excited to see these programs, and many more, resonate with our employees as their feedback helped us become a Great Place to Work® company. But the thing that humbles us most is that over 90% of our people say they take pride in working here…I think that tells you everything you need to know about a career at Live Nation.
It’s important to remember that we’re more than music; as the world’s leading live entertainment company we cover the action from stage to field, and touch many industries from technology, marketing, operations, hospitality, customer service, sales, film, advertising and beyond. If you think Live Nation could be a good fit for the next act in your career, I invite you to learn more about the company and see all our current job openings around the world here.
