As the UK settles into the current lockdown, it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. To lift those spirits, the stars of South West Four Festival have delved into their own recordings to pull together the ultimate lockdown playlist.

Throughout the years, SW4 has consistently brought together some of the biggest and most promising artists from all corners of the electronic and hip-hop scenes, bringing one of the UK’s biggest parties to South London.

Check out the songs that the festival’s line-up have chosen to keep you busy during these uncertain times. From RAYE’s aptly titled Please Don’t Touch to a very special selection by stateside DJ and producer MK, here’s South West Four’s Ultimate Lockdown Playlist.

You can also listen to and follow the whole playlist on Spotify.

Major Lazer – Rave De Favela

“We released this song right before Carnaval, the biggest party in the world. The response we got from everyone and the energy at the shows was unreal whenever we played it. If you’re looking for something to get your energy up while staying safe at home, this is the song. See you soon SW4.” – Major Lazer

Kelis – Rumble

“It’s a track that is easy and vibey that will get people through these crazy times. It’s smooth enough if someone is looking to wind down, yet still upbeat if they need an afternoon pick me up to get them out of a quarantine rut.” – Kelis

Hybrid Minds & Fred V – Drowning In You

Wilkinson – All For You

“This one is – as the title suggests – all for you! If you sitting at home on lockdown or braving a walk in the park, turn it up, try and forget about the crazy times we are living in just for a few minutes and dream of the summer and getting back to Clapham Common for SW4. When we come out the other side of this mess… the parties are going to be next level.” – Wilkinson

Bonus Track: Depeche Mode – Enjoy The Silence (Chosen by MK)

Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode is a go-to for intense times. Thinking about how the words are so true and right for now. “All I ever wanted, all I ever needed is here in my arms.” As crazy as things are, I am home with friends and family and it is a good feeling. Psst, also gives everyone plenty of time to get healthy, work out and get ready for the summer, I can’t wait! Meanwhile, stay safe, we will get through this together!” – MK
