Three massive tours you must see in 2017

This is going to be a bumper year for live music with epic tours across the globe set to satiate music tastes of every genre.

Presented by Three

Here we round up some of the best live tours kicking into gear in 2017 which you truly have to be a part of – and will want to show off to all your friends.

Lady Gaga

After single-handedly smashing the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year, Little Monsters across the globe are now waiting with bated breath to see what their almighty queen will bring to the stage for her global Joanne tour.

What do we know?

This will be Gaga’s first solo tour since 2014’s ARTPOP, so expect the same high-energy, tour de force extravaganza. Gaga’s usual show of subversive oratorical fireworks and spectacle is likely to get tongues wagging across the globe, so be sure to grab loads of pics and videos and post them across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to let everyone know you were there.

Where and when?

The show flies through the USA and Europe (including UK dates from 9 – 17 October) before returning for a second home-run in North America from 5 November.

Guns N’ Roses

Calling all rock fans! Months after finishing the North American leg of their Not In This Lifetime tour, the iconic Guns N’ Roses are set to bring a string of new dates to Europe and the United States. This epic, 35-date trek across the globe is sure to set die-hard fans of the band alight as Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan get ready to rock your world.

What do we know?

The classic Guns N’ Roses line-up are back together for these dates – marking the first time since their 1993 Use Your Illusion Tour that the three have performed together. Expect huge hits, hordes of fans head-banging and air guitar riffs aplenty – the perfect montage for Instagram Stories if ever there was one.

Where and when?

Things begin in Dublin in May, before a bonkers parade across the globe taking in as varied locations as Bilbao, Stockholm and Nijmegen.

Robbie Williams

Not quite global this one, but one helluva hefty European tour for everyone’s favourite cheeky chappy in pop. The aptly titled Heavy Entertainment Show promises to deliver Robbie’s usual dose of naughtiness, a whole heap of hits from across his solo career and a healthy dose of tracks from his new album.

What do we know?

This long-awaited stadium tour will bring Robbie’s 11th studio album to life as he goes all-out across some of Europe’s biggest venues. A true showman, Robbie’s epic new tour will undoubtedly also feature some of his most beloved hits; so you can still phone your Mum up when he starts singing Angels and let her listen in.

Where and when?

Kicking off in Manchester in June, the UK leg of the tour takes up much of the first month of dates. After that we’re off to (ready?): Ireland, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland, among others.
