American actor Rob Lowe has announced a date at Brighton Dome on 16 February 2019. The new date will follow on from his date at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 1 December 2018.
Following a sell-out US run, Lowe is set to bring his one man show, Stories I Only Tell My Friends: Live to London this winter for one night only. He’ll then head to Brighton in February 2019 for a night at the Brighton Dome.
Inspired by the success of his two New York Times best-selling memoirs, Stories I Only Tell My Friends and Love Life, Rob promises an honest, hilarious, all-new, peak behind the curtain at Hollywood, fame, fatherhood, marriage, and a life lived at the forefront of culture for four decades.

Lowe made his acting debut at the age of 15 as part of an ABC sitcom A New Kind of Family. He then became a teen idol thanks to his roles in films like The Outsiders in 1983, St. Elmo’s Fire in 1985, About Last Night in 1986, and Square Dance in 1987. He later went on to star in The West Wing, Brothers and Sisters, Parks and Recreation and more.
Across his iconic film and TV career, Lowe has been the recipient of a Satellite Award for Best Cast in 2000, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2000 and 2001 for The West Wing. He has been nominated for numerous awards including five Golden Globes, a Primetime Emmy in 2001, a SAG in 2003 and 2014 and a People’s Choice Award in 2016.
