An Evening with Kelsey Grammer is coming to London
The famous actor arrives at London's Aldwych Theatre in June.
The award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer will be celebrating his career for one night only in London’s West End this summer.
The actor will be regaling the audience with stories from his illustrious career live at the Aldwych Theatre on Sunday 9 June 2019.
English broadcaster, comedian and writer Iain Lee will be hosting the evening.
An icon of American television, Kelsey Grammer has been a fixture on screens for forty years.
Grammer is most recognisable for his portrayal of psychiatrist Dr Frasier Crane, first in the sitcom Cheers, which ran for 275 episodes between 1983-1993 and then in the show’s spin-off Frasier, which ran for 11 seasons between 1993-2004.
Both shows celebrate critical acclaimed, winning multiple awards during their original runs. In total, Kelsey Grammer was awarded four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards for his portrayal of the Seattle based therapist and radio show host.
Alongside Cheers and Frasier, Grammer is also well known for his regular voice appearances as Sideshow Bob in the long-running animation The Simpsons. Grammer’s portrayal of Krusty The Clown’s murderous sidekick won the actor his fifth Emmy Award in 2006.
As well as his TV work, the actor has also appeared on stage in plays such as Macbeth, My Fair Lady and Big Fish. Grammer won a Tony Award in 2016 for his part in producing the Broadway revival of The Color Purple and the star can be seen in the upcoming play Man of La Mancha, set to open in London’s West End this April.
On the big screen, Grammer has performed in Hollywood blockbusters such as X Men: The Last Stand, Transformers: Age Of Extinction and Storks.
Kelsey Grammer will be telling stories about his career to an intimate audience, live on stage later this year.
