Comedian, presenter and actor Jason Manford has added more dates to his Muddle Class tour, which follows last year’s Work In Progress.

“Somebody said to me on my Facebook fan page, ‘it’s been ages since you’ve toured’,” Manford explained when announcing the show last year. “I thought ‘no way, it was last year wasn’t it? Anyway, long story short, they were right, it was years ago! I just got fooled cos I’ve been on tour doing musicals and the last tour is repeated on Dave ja Vu 13 times a day! So I’ve been putting some stuff together, looking at my life and how it’s changed over the years, how the world has changed and how my parents haven’t changed a bit! It’s going to be a great tour and I can’t wait to see you there.”

The show is built around Manford’s realisation that he’s moved from “working class” to “middle class”, causing all sorts of confusion. He began the tour proper earlier this month, with the previously announced dates taking him through until December 2018.

The additional dates kick off in Norwich on the 17 January 2019, and run through to Richmond, London on the 4 April 2019.

Manford is well known for his various TV appearances, including as a team captain on Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats. We caught up with the comedian at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017 to find out more. Check out our chat below:
