Chris Tucker announces UK tour dates
The comedy superstar arrives in the UK in September.
Chris Tucker, famed for his outrageous comedy and high-profile film appearances, will be playing four headline shows across the UK in September and October 2018. They are his first since debuting in the UK in 2012.
Tucker kicks off his newly announced dates in Birmingham on 27 September 2018, before taking to Manchester, Glasgow and London.
Tickets for the new run go on sale at 9:00 on Friday 27 July 2018.
Rising to fame as part of Russell Simmons’ HBO Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s, Chris Tucker became a household name starring alongside Jackie Chan in the Rush Hour series, directed by Brett Ratner. He negotiated a huge $25 million salary for the third instalment in 2006, becoming the highest paid actor in Hollywood.
He made his film debut in 1995 in Friday alongside Ice Cube, before appearing in Money Talks with Charlie Sheen and the cult classic The Fifth Element.
Having continued his run of films with 2013’s award-winning Silver Linings Playbook, Tucker released a Netflix special entitled Chris Tucker Live two years later.
Following its release, he launched a worldwide tour in 2017.
Tucker, who continues to star on stage and screen, also runs his own company, Chris Tucker Entertainment, as well as the humanitarian effort Chris Tucker Foundation.
