Harry Styles covers Wet Leg’s ‘Wet Dream’
The singer put his own spin on the song at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
‘As It Was’ has done seven straight weeks at number one, Harry’s House has debuted to critical acclaim, and Harry Styles is gearing up for a huge international tour. But the singer-songwriter still found time to throw some love in the direction of Wet Leg, who will be one of his opening acts next year.
Styles covered the indie duo’s track ‘Wet Dream’ from their self-titled debut album. Backed by drums and electric guitars, the ‘Boyfriends’ singer cruised through the suggestive song, and also played a few tracks from his new third studio album.
Wet Leg found initial success through Tik Tok, and have rapidly gathered a following for their irreverent, tongue-in-cheek take on indie pop. They will be supporting Styles on the Australian leg of his tour, which commences in February 2023. Styles will kick off his tour in the UK next month, playing Glasgow’s Ibrox Stadium on June 11.
