From 19:00 BST each night, Absolute Radio will air selected sets from the festival’s history, including Bowie’s last ever UK performance.

Sarah Champion, Ben Burrell, Danielle Perry, Ross Buchanan and Bush and Richie will host across the weekend, on what is being dubbed the Front Room Festival.

It continues the illustrious legacy of the festival, which first ran for three years from 1968 until 1970, before being revived in 2002 and calling Isle of Wight’s Seaclose Park home ever since.

As evident in the Absolute Radio line-up, the festival has hosted some of the world’s most influential stars across the years, most recently welcoming Noel Gallagher, George Ezra and Biffy Clyro to the top of the bill in 2019.

Listen to Absolute Radio on DAB nationwide, on their free app, and on Freeview, Sky, and Virgin Media TV.
