Swedish alternative rockers Mando Diao are set to return to the UK for the first time in a decade for an exclusive headline performance at London’s O2 Academy Islington in May.

Perhaps best known for their 2009 hit, Dance With Somebody, the band boast eight studio albums to their name, including two that have reached the No.1 spot in their native Sweden.

Fronted by founding member Björn Dixgård on vocals and guitar, they last released their Good Times LP in 2017, continuing a influential career across the continent.

All eight of their records have reached the top 10 in Sweden, with 2012’s Infruset certified four times Platinum.

As Mando Diao gear up to return to the UK for the first time since 2009, we caught up with the band to find out more about the songs that will be keeping them entertained on the road. The result is nothing short of eclectic, with a strong language warning in place for some of the selection.
