Everything you need to know about Clarkson, Hammond and May Live

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are back, and they’re bringing their live tour to the UK next month.

Promising to wow audiences with some of their very best stunts, they’re preparing to pack more supercars, tyre smoke and, er, explosions than ever before.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Clarkson, Hammond and May Live Tour…

The UK dates…
The Clarkson, Hammond and May Live Tour will pull into Belfast Odyssey Arena between 22 – 24 May, Sheffield Motorpoint Arena between 5 – 7 June and The O2, London between 28 – 29 October.

The build…
It takes around 40 people to set up the arena during the build days to make it ready for Clarkson, Hammond and May Live. Then during the actual show days there are around 90-95 production staff that it takes to make the event happen.

The venue prep…
The shortest it has taken to prepare the venue is two days, but more typically the crew move into a venue on a Monday night to get ready for a Friday show, so the usual amount of time is around four days.

The catering…
The show will have a catering company backstage to make sure that the crew are all fed and watered with meals to keep them going through the long days. The menu tends to change daily so that it always keeps it fresh for the crew.

The biggest venue…
Jeremy, Richard and James performed at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland for a one-night only show in 2013. The event was a total sell-out which saw the boys performing to a record number of 56,000 people.

The miles…
This year’s tour is taking in Belfast, Sheffield, Johannesburg, Stavanger, Melbourne, Sydney and London. This makes the tour cover 33,437 miles, almost 1.5 times the distance of the equator.
